I have two discounts I would like to use for my conference registration. Can I use both of them?
No, we do not combine discounts but we will honor the discount that is best for you. These discounts are for attendee places only and not exhibition packages.
What time does the conference and tradeshow open?
The conference presentations will run from 8.30 am to 6.00pm each day. The tradeshow will open from 10.30 am on the first day (5 December), and from 08.30 am on the second day (6 December). The tradeshow will close at 6.00 pm on Wednesday, December 5 and 4.30 pm on Thursday, December 6.
Are the meals included?
Yes, all refreshments and conference lunches are included with your pass, please check the agenda for the timings. If you have any special dietary requirements, please contact Sarah Parish at s.parish@IDTechEx.com
How can I get to the venue?
The Santa Clara Convention Center's address details; including website address, telephone number and map, are listed on the conference website under the Venue and Hotels section.
What about accommodation?
The cost of your hotel accommodation and travel is not included in the registration fee. To take advantage of our conference accommodation rate at the Hyatt Hotel please visit the Venue and Hotels section of our website where you will find booking details.
Where do I collect my badge from?
Your badge and showguide can be collected from the registration desk at the Convention Center. The desk will be open from 2.30 pm on Tuesday, December 4 and close at the end of the show on Thursday afternoon. Your badge must be worn at all times and you will be refused entry to the event without it. Please report to the registration desk if you mislay your badge.
Do I have to pre-select the track that I want to attend?
No. If you have purchased a full conference pass you will have access to all the tracks and can move between them at any time.
How can I access the presentations?
If you have purchased a 2 day conference and tradeshow pass, this also includes electronic access to the presentations, where we have the speaker's permission to make them available. The presentations (where we have the speaker's permission to distribute) will be available to download from our website in pdf format, a week after the conference. We will send out an email to notify you when the presentations are available to download and the email will contain download instructions.
Are the presentations recorded?
Only audio. The presentation MP3 audio files are only available to download after the conference by attendees who have ordered this product, it is not included with the 2 day conference and tradeshow pass.
What is the difference between an "Exhibition Only" pass and an "Exhibition and Keynote Only" pass?
The "Exhibition and Keynote Only" pass allows you entry to the conference keynote presentations which take place on the morning of Wednesday, December 5 and the tradeshow. The Exhibition Only pass only permits access to the tradeshow
I have an Exhibition Only Pass, can I attend the conference presentations?
No, your pass will only allow you entry to the tradeshow. However, if you wish to attend the conference sessions as well, please report to the registration desk and we can advise you on how to upgrade your pass. Alternatively you can email Sarah Parish at s.parish@IDTechEx.com and she can provide the relevant information.

What happens if I have to cancel?

I can no longer attend, can someone else have my pass?
Yes, a name change on a pass is free of charge - however, we will need the full registration details (contact name, mailing address and email address) of the other person before the conference in order to make the subsitution.
